As a Electrical Quality Engineer, you will perform quality planning activities related to the assembly of electrical and electronic components, modules or tractors on new product programs. In addition, you will:
Participate on PDP (Product Delivery Process) teams as the Quality representative, ensuring quality activities and plans are formulated and followed
Participate in Design Process and Assembly Reviews (DPRs), print reviews, and design reviews of new products
Use quality tools and practices to ensure the identification of quality concerns for internally manufactured parts and assemblies
Lead cross functional team to create Process FMEAs for the assembly of electrical and electronic components on the tractor
Establish and execute valid process control strategies to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations
Facilitate quality activities to ensure manufacturing processes are capable
Investigate product quality problems, determine root cause for quality problems, gather and analyze data and implement corrective action
The hiring manager expects that the successful candidate should expect to perform in this role for a minimum of 36 months.
What Skills You Need
1 or more years of experience as a Quality Engineer for electrical and electronic components and systems
Experience in roles that demonstrate an understanding of standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis
Experience with advanced data gathering and statistical analysis techniques
Experience in drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Demonstration of effective (verbal and written) communication skills
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience in manufacturing technology of electrical and electronic components
Experience in Assembly Quality or Component/Supplier Quality
Experience executing statistical tools and techniques in Statistica, Minitab or R
Experience working with appearance components and their assembly processes
Experience with agricultural equipment or other on/off highway machinery
Knowledge of vehicle systems interfacing with electric drives such as engines, gearboxes and vehicle controllers
ASQ certification in Quality or Six Sigma
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
