Huitt-Zollars' Oklahoma City, OK Office has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer. This role will work collaboratively in a team environment providing engineering design for various urban land development projects and residential developments. Candidate must be a licensed P.E. in the State of Oklahoma with 3 plus years of experience.
Produce design plans and manage urban land development projects including residential, commercial and/or industrial developments
Produce design and construction drawings incorporating information from supervisor, research data and consultants for various projects including land development grading, utility, drainage, paving plans, etc.
Research materials and assemblies for design and construction drawings as needed
Conduct site visits and assist with documenting findings
B.S. in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
Oklahoma State P.E. License and registration
Minimum 3 year's experience in design plans, specifications, construction support, cost estimating and geotechnical coordination
Knowledge of surveying and regulatory permitting
Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques
Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects
Ability to read redlines and modify drawings accurately
