Skills / Qualifications
•BS in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering is required, MS preferred
•EIT and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification preferred
•0 to 2 years environmental experience, experience in fieldwork desirable.
•Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
•Strong work ethic with flexibility to work outside normal business hours, as required; field activities may require working in unfavorable weather conditions or with hazardous materials and in hazardous conditions
•Must pass drug test, physical, background check, and must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Complany’s driving (Motor Vehicle Safety) policy
Amec Foster Wheeler’s Sacramento, California offce provides a broad range of services in engineering and earth and environmental sciences. Our Sacramento staff of approximately 45 engineers, geologist, scientists, and support personnel specializes largely in soil, groundwater, and sediment contamination assessment and remediation. We provide comprehensive support through all phases of assessment and remediation, from preliminary screening through remedial investigation, feasibility study, remedial design, and construction oversight. In addition, we provide storm water, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and other environmental compliance services as well as mold assessments, indoor air quality, and other health / safety compliance services.
