Act as a project leader for initiatives within the Quality department. Provide enterprise wide guidance leading Six Sigma problem solving methodologies, quality tools, project management, team dynamics and process monitoring. Perform advanced quality planning and establish quality standard work for new products and processes. Works cross functionally to focus on continuous improvement and the elimination of waste through the use of six sigma tools.
Manage projects related to quality needs within the organization, both proactively and reactionary.
Serve as a Lean change agent in building and institutionalizing FMEA, Quality Control Plans, SPC, FAI, PPAP and Product/Process Capability.
Develop new product and process requirements. Analyze data and perform design reviews to create acceptance criteria, specifications and control limits for product, components and manufacturing. Establish First Article Inspection standard work.
Develops and facilitates effective internal corrective actions based off monitoring and measuring internal and external process inputs. Establish failure analysis data requirements (Proclarity).
Participates and conducts Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvements. Implement solutions and track results. Develops and performs training to assure sustained improvements on processes and products.
Leads problem solving using information gained from process monitoring, failure analysis, warranty, Non-Conformance Reports, customer complaints, capability studies and continuous improvement projects etc.
Implement various advanced measuring equipment and coordinate Gage R&R.
Technical product drawings and computer aided design (CAD).
Solid computer (MS Office, Minitab) and communication skills.
Mastery of Lean and Six Sigma tools
Experience in customer facing functions (customer service, service products) is desirable
