The successful candidate will have a PhD in civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. The candidate should have a record of or demonstrate the potential for successful proposal writing, PhD student mentoring, scholarship, and classroom teaching.
Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in advanced construction robotics, additive manufacturing, 3D environmental perception, control systems for construction automation, or industrialized construction systems. Applicants that can bridge the fields of construction, computer science, and robotics are particularly encouraged to apply.
